Digital Survey & Marking

Surveying and marking for land, infrastructure and construction - from boundaries and levels to layouts and alignment.

  • Topographical Survey — Captures the existing ground levels and physical features of a site - roads, drains, structures, vegetation and services - as they are today.
  • Contour Survey — Maps how elevation changes across a site, producing contour lines that show the slope, high points and low points.
  • FMB Survey — Field Measurement Book survey records the dimensions and details of a plot so the site can be compared against the available land records.
  • Boundary Survey / Marking — Establishes the site boundary from the applicable survey information and marks the limit on the ground with visible points.
  • Cadastral Survey — Records land parcels and their defined limits for land-management, revenue and planning purposes.
  • As-Built Survey — Records the position, levels and dimensions of work after it has been completed, showing what was actually built against what was planned.
  • DGPS and GPS Survey — Uses satellite-based positioning to establish site coordinates and support control and mapping work over large or open areas.
  • Drone / Airline Survey — Collects aerial images and survey information using drone or aircraft coverage over open, large or difficult-to-access sites.
  • Level Transfer Marking — Transfers a known reference level from a benchmark to working points across the site, and marks those levels on the ground.
  • Pipeline Survey / Marking — Maps the route and position of pipelines and marks the alignment on site so it can be followed during excavation and laying work.
  • Oil and Gas Survey — Provides site survey and marking support for oil and gas project areas, plant locations and working layouts.
  • Road Survey and Marking — Surveys the existing road alignment and marks the planned road or site line on the ground.
  • Construction Sector Marking — Marks setting-out points, lines and levels that allow the execution team to follow the planned works on site.
  • Layout Survey and Marking — Sets out planned plots, roads and building lines on the ground from the relevant layout information.
  • Sub Division Survey and Marking — Helps divide a larger land area into individual plots and marks each sub-division boundary on site.
  • Bed Bolt Alignment Marking — Marks the locations and alignment of bed bolts and related machine foundations before installation takes place.
  • Petrol Bunk Marking / Survey — Provides survey and marking support for petrol-bunk sites and planned fuel-related layouts.

Approvals

  • Soil Test (SPT, ERT, CBT, Plate Load) — Soil testing establishes the condition of the ground your structure will sit on, using the listed methods - Standard Penetration Test, Electrical Resistivity Tomography, Cross Borehole Test and Plate Load Test - as appropriate to the site and the structure.
  • Ground Water Survey — Investigates water availability and the subsurface water conditions at a site, including the water table and the quality indications relevant to the project.
  • Quantity Survey — Measures and estimates the materials, works and quantities involved in a project from drawings and site information.
  • Land & Building Valuation — Provides an assessment of the value of land or a building, with the basis of the valuation explained so the figure can be used with confidence.
  • 2D / 3D Plan & Designing — Prepares two-dimensional layouts and three-dimensional views so the proposal can be understood before it is built, including space arrangement, circulation and appearance.
  • Structural / Architectural Designing — Design support covering the structural behaviour and the architectural form of a building or facility, so appearance and performance are developed together.
  • BIM Model & Design — Building Information Modelling organises design information into a coordinated digital model, so architectural, structural and service information can be reviewed together instead of in isolation.
  • GIS Design & DTM Design — Geographic Information System design and Digital Terrain Model design place survey and site data in a mapped, spatial format - useful for understanding a site, its surroundings and its levels across an area rather than a single plot.
  • Stability Certificate — An assessment of the stability of an existing structure, based on its present condition, for the purpose the assessment is required.
  • Project Management Consultancy (PMC) — Brings coordination across planning, sequencing, documentation and follow-through so the different parts of a project stay aligned with each other.
